Introduction

This wiki is a collaborative translation project launched by JAK Medlemsbank (JAK Members Bank). JAK Members Bank is a cooperative bank of more than 36.000 members based in Sweden. JAK is operating an interest-free savings and loan system since 1970 and obtained the Bank Licence in 1997. We would like to spread our ideas over the world and help people in other countries to create their own interest-free projects.

Our system is quite simple but as it is totally different from the standard banks we have created a lot of material that explains how our cooperative bank works. Most of this material is written in Swedish and it is essential to the speadth of this system to translate it to other languages. That’s why we start with this Wiki: to organise and give a structure to these collaborative translations.
